It's not the end of the world if we lose and we don't need to fire and trade everyone. Do we need to make changes? Yes, we do. Those are coming win or lose, though. We're likely not getting past Boston and running the table. Whether we lose tomorrow or to Columbus, not much changes in what we need to do to get better, nor is it easier or tougher.
Having said that, let's kick them in the dick tomorrow. I'm with Steve, I think Tavares and Marner look brilliant tomorrow. They've been too dormant for too long, even if they are being asked to be defensive. Matthews is owning this round so far and Nylander has played really well. Our fourth line has been good, Marleau hasn't been a complete disaster (contrary to popular belief) and Brown has added some strong forechecking too. Our backend has been really good, even Gardiner and Zaitsev. We've been the better team all series so let's finish them off in the belly of the motherfucking beast. The feeling of beating them in their house, in game seven after the shit we've been through? That's going to be some primo cathartic shit. Let's fuck em up.
