both players will need the attention of Barb to sharpen up their edgework

both player's were draftcastoffs by Arizona and Calgary respectively

both players have advanced offensive skills and scored prolifically in their CHL careers

both players are a shot in the dark

Timothy Liljegren has been deemed, unfit to play and Leafs have brought back Mac Hollowell.
Lil has to be getting pretty frustrated with never being able to stick with the Leafs for any length of time.  I imagine Dubas is getting frustrated too.

Unfit to play is the NHL’s new generic term for anything that could possibly hold you off the ice. Not entirely sure if he'd get into the lineup seeing as the blueline is healthy... for the first time all season.

you’ve had a 4 months to rest..... and you come in with injuries?

Maybe he was working too hard to be super fit.

Not for me to judge him.

Shouldn't hurt the team much anyway.

I said the exact same thing.

What a bullshit angle to cave to. Want your players to improve? Pay your staff to work in the summer, otherwise shut the fuck up

Absolutely bullshit

The Leafs keeping their own facilities open to their players is unfair, yet the tax breaks the Florida teams and Dallas gets aren't? Like come on.

I fucking WISH Marner was making just over 9M.

Yegor Korshkov returns to Russia.

Will be rejoining his former team, Lokomotiv.

With all of the uncertainty surrounding the AHL (minor league sports in general), this makes sense.

Not a bad move TBH. It's only a loan and with the uncertainty of the AHL, the KHL is apparently suppose to resume their season in September.

They just loaned Lehtonen back to Jokerit too. The AHL is aiming to start 2020-21 on December 4.

Rookie goaltender who put up an .880 SV% with the Marlies this season. What could possibly go wrong there?

Marlies aren't the team they were. Minor league numbers are virtually meaningless. Look at Sparks. Way better numbers. Way better team. Still not NHL calibre. Worth rolling the dice on Will, Imo

It certainly is fucking not worth rolling the dice on when Freddy wasn't the issue in this series and the kid sucked ass in an inferior league.
