The Game

The Toronto Maple Leafs will try to avoid losing their fourth game in their past five when they host the Arizona Coyotes at Scotiabank Arena on Sunday.

Goalie Frederik Andersen will start for the Maple Leafs, who are 4-6-0 in 10 games since the Christmas break.

Darcy Kuemper will start for the Coyotes, who are 4-1-1 in their past six games and have scored three or more goals in four of their past six.

Players to watch

Coyotes forward Conor Garland has seven points (six goals, one assist) in his past seven games.

Maple Leafs forward Kasperi Kapanen has five points (one goal, four assists) during a four-game point streak.

They said it

"I don't think it's overrated, I think it's pretty important to work through that kind of stuff. It's not going good for some of us and as a team we haven't played as consistently as we've wanted to since the new year. Tonight is a good night to get back on track, play similar to how we did against Tampa Bay (in a 4-2 win on Thursday)." -- Maple Leafs forward Auston Matthews on working through a stretch of one goal in 12 games after scoring nine in his prior 10

"Last three or four games I feel like we've been playing really good and getting some points. We're five points out of a playoff spot right now so it's big games for us and it's going to be a good challenge for our group here tonight." -- Coyotes captain Oliver Ekman-Larsson

Marincin - Zaitsev is not just "a thing", they're the second-pairing.

I would of thought Dermot would slide into the second pairing and it could happen during the game.

Hopefully Auston being at home busts a move tonight ( be better too if Kappy was his winger rather than Brown so again, hopefully Babcock changes that line too at some point.

The projected lineup is pulled from nhl.com.

Go waggle your dick at them. And look up what 'projected' means.

Just saying... I knew what was up. So pretty much, I’m smarter than you. Sorry bud.
